Mike McQuaid brings over 25-years communications and sports experience to the Stealth organization.
As Vice President of Communications, Mike McQuaid is responsible for all business and sports communications for the Stealth organization including game-day media services.
A Seattle native, McQuaid brings over 25 years of experience in media relations, sports and business development to Everett, Wash.-based National Lacrosse League franchise.
Along with his responsibilities with the Stealth, McQuaid and his firm McQuaidUSA actively support US Lacrosse in the State of Washington directing the local chapter's sports information services.
Throughout his career, McQuaid has worked in both business development and communications capacities in broadcasting, finance, technology and sports.
In athletics, McQuaid has supported a number of Olympic sports including rowing, canoe/kayak and snowboarding. He began his sports career with the Western Hockey League Seattle Breakers and later worked on the game-day sports information staffs at Washington State University and the University of Washington along with serving as Washington state sports information director for US Lacrosse.
His sports information experience includes work with athletes competing in the Olympic Games, World Championships, Pan American Games, Goodwill Games, U.S. Olympic Trials, U.S. World Championships Trials, NorAm Snowboarding Finals, NCAA Final Four, NASCAR, NBA, NFL, MLS, Major League Baseball and the National Lacrosse League.
McQuaid is a graduate of Mercer Island High School and studied at the Edward R. Murrow College of Communication at Washington State University where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree. As a competitive rower, he was named to the All Pac-10 Rowing Team while at WSU and won a National Championship for Philadelphia's Vesper Boat Club.
