SJ Stealth Companion Charity: Sticks-2-Schools

The Washington Stealth is a proud and active partner of Sticks-2-Schools, a non-profit organization devoted to reducing the epidemic of childhood obesity by making exercise fun. We work with schools in the Greater Bay Area to introduce lacrosse into their physical education curriculum or after-school programs. Since 2005, we've served 38,150 youth in 60 elementary, middle, and high schools. In the three lacrosse seasons that the program has been active, we have raised more than $95,000 in sponsorships, contributions and donations from local businesses and community members.

Sticks-2-Schools provides PE teachers with lacrosse equipment, curriculum and support to schools to introduce co-ed soft lacrosse into the Physical Education (PE) curriculum in order to help fight childhood obesity. The Washington Stealth are an active partner in Sticks-2-Schools.
