Jake Elliott: Play by Play

Jake Elliott enters his 5th season as a member of the Vancouver Stealth broadcast team on TSN Radio and NLL TV.

Twice awarded the National Lacrosse League’s Tom Borrelli Award for Media Person of the Year, Elliott also co-hosts the weekly Stealth Classified on TSN 1410. Originally the play-by-play voice of the Minnesota Swarm from 2011-2013, Jake joined the Stealth in 2014 with longtime broadcast partner Brad Challoner calling colour-commentary.

The absolute premiere voice of lacrosse, Elliott has called more Western Lacrosse Association and BC Junior A Lacrosse League games than any broadcaster in history – including five Minto Cup Championships (2004, 2007, 2013, 2015, 2016), three Mann Cup Championships (2005, 2007, 2011) and two World U-19 Field Lacrosse Championships (2008, 2016). He was honoured by the BC Lacrosse Association in 2017 with the Norm Wright Media Award.

A Coquitlam native, Jake attended Sonoma State University and played Junior A lacrosse for the Coquitlam Adanacs and in the Western Lacrosse Association for the New Westminster Salmonbellies and Coquitlam Adanacs. As a coach, Elliott guided the Coquitlam Intermediate A Adanacs to a provincial title in 2003, before coaching in the BCJALL with Coquitlam, Langley and New Westminster.
