NLL Announces All-Star Series Rosters

The National Lacrosse League have completed the rosters for the NLL’s All-Star Series which will take place in Melbourne, Australia on October 23 and 24.  Four members of the Washington Stealth are featured on the rosters that will combine All-Stars in the NLL with the top lacrosse players in Australia for a two-game series.

Rhys Duch, Jeff Zywicki, Tyler Richards and Luke Wiles will be the Stealth stars playing in the series.  Duch, Zywicki and Richards will be teammates on the West Team and Wiles, who was acquired by the Stealth in a trade with the Toronto Rock this offseason, playing for the East Team.  The All-Star Series marks the debut of professional indoor lacrosse in Australia.

Duch is the reigning NLL Rookie of the Year after breaking the rookie scoring record with 89 points last season.  That total was good for seventh in the league in 2009 and earned him a spot on the NLL All-Rookie team.

Zywicki is a three-time NLL All-Star.  Zywicki is ranked third on the Stealth’s all-time points list with 286 in four seasons.  Last season, he ranked 14th in the league with 78 points.

Richards burst onto the NLL scene in the second half of last season, posting a 10.08 goals against average and a .803 save percentage in ten games.  Both totals were ranked second in the NLL and earned Richards a spot on the NLL All-Rookie team.

Wiles returns to the Stealth in 2010 after spending last season with the Toronto Rock.  On a struggling Rock squad, Wiles finished 20th in the NLL last year with 69 points.  Wiles began his career with the Stealth in 2007, and amassed 136 points in his first two professional seasons.

The Washington Stealth begin their first season at the Comcast Arena at Everett on January 9, 2010.  Season tickets are now available and start at just $75.  For more information, visit or call 877-MY-75-TIX.
