The Washington Stealth, the reigning back-to-back National Lacrosse League Western Division Champions, has announced that it will hold the Second Annual Stealth Lacrosse Academy Holiday Camp, December 27-29 at the Comcast Arena at Everett.
The Stealth Lacrosse Academy Holiday Camp is an immersion training camp for youth and high school lacrosse players of all skill levels. Led by Washington Stealth All-Pro forward and Academy Field Director Lewis Ratcliff, the holiday camp will cover all aspects of box lacrosse, including skills, tactics, physical training and nutrition.  Ratcliff will be joined by a number of his Stealth teammates, including Rhys Duch, Chris McElroy, Chris O’Dougherty and Kyle Ross.
“The Holiday Camp will provide another great opportunity for lacrosse players in the region to get a stick in their hands and hone their skills,” said Ratcliff.  “Box lacrosse provides these young athletes with a different skill set that will benefit them when they return to their field lacrosse club teams in the spring.  The also get the unique opportunity to learn from some of the best lacrosse players in the world.”
The 2011 Stealth Lacrosse Academy Holiday Camp will also feature a three-on-three tournament on December 29.  Teams will be made up of four players with goalies rotating throughout the tournament.  Games will be fifteen minutes in length with prizes awarded to winning teams.
The camp will be held at the home of the Washington Stealth, the Comcast Arena at Everett on December 27-29.  Lacrosse players twelve years of age and younger will be on the floor from 9am-noon, while players thirteen and older will play from 1pm-4pm each day.  For more information on the 2011 Stealth Lacrosse Academy Holiday Camp and to register, visit
