Stealth Select Three Players in 3rd Round

Vancouver, BC (Monday, September 22, 2014) – The Vancouver Stealth had three third round selections in the 2014 NLL Entry Draft, drafting Brandon Clelland, Dan Keane and Jakob Doucet.

Clelland, drafted 21st overall was a member of the Orangeville Northmen in 2014 where he was named to the All-Second Team.

Keane was a member of the Ontario Junior ‘A’, Brampton Excelsiors, where the right-handed shooter scored 146 points in 35 games.  

“It’s an honour,” said the 23rd overall pick. “I’m glad I got this opportunity and I hope to make the team.”

The Stealth capped off their third round picks, drafting left-handed defenseman Jakob Doucet. Doucet played the last three season for the New Westminster Salmonbellies of the BC Junior ‘A’ Lacrosse League. In 49 regular season games, he’s scored 55 points. He’s also played in 20 playoff games, scoring 9 points and 65 penalty minutes.
