The San Jose Stealth added more brawn recently with the signings of defense/transition players Will Dalton and Jason Lutz. The 265-pound Dalton spent the last four seasons on the Maryland lacrosse team as a midfielder and the Terrapins main faceoff player. He was also Maryland's team captain and won the lacrosse team's "Big Man" award, given to the player who best exemplifies the selfless and positive qualities of legendary coach Dick Edell. Dalton was selected to the 2005 Atlantic Coast Conference All-Tournament team. He scored 10 goals as a senior while winning 69 of 145 face-offs. Lutz, at 6-5, 235, is another large defender and a four-year starter at Ohio State. Lutz was an Academic All-Big Ten selection and also an Ohio State Scholar Athlete. "We're excited to add Jason and Will to our roster coming into training camp," Stealth Assistant General Manager Doug Locker said. "Both are big and athletic and we feel that they will be able to make the transition to the indoor game."
