The San Jose Stealth is proud to help our communities all year long, but during the holidays it becomes even more imperative to give from the heart. This year the Stealth partners up with two great charity programs, The Alameda County Community Food Bank and the Marine Toys for Tots Foundation. Every month, thousands of Alameda County residents rely on the Food Bank for nutritious food resources. Your donations help provide low-income families and individuals with emergency food assistance and the most invaluable resource of all, hope. The U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Program collects new, unwrapped toys during October, November and December each year, and distributes those toys as Christmas gifts to needy children in the community. This helps deliver a message of hope to needy youngsters that will motivate them to grow into responsible, productive, patriotic citizens and community leaders. The Toys for Tots objective is to play an active role in the development of one of our nation's most valuable natural resources - our children; to unite all members of local communities in a common cause for three months each year during the annual toy collection and distribution campaign; and to contribute to better communities in the future. Through these programs the San Jose Stealth are committed to giving back to the community that has supported us.
