Stealth Vice President and Assistant General Manager Doug Locker returned to his alma mater on Valentine’s Day for the dedication of a new lacrosse locker room in his honor. Locker was the Head Coach of the Poet’s men’s lacrosse team for 21 seasons (1981-2002) and compiled a 293-72 overall record. He won 10 Western Lacrosse League Championships and led Whittier to the NCAA Tournament in 2002. In October of 2008, Locker was inducted into the Whittier College Athletic Hall of Fame. He was also the Director of Recruitment and Retention for the College during his tenure there. Locker graduated from Whittier College in 1979. The dedication of “Locker’s Lockers” kicked off an evening of lacrosse at Whittier’s newly renovated Memorial Stadium. Following the ceremony, an alumni game took place where the current Poet squad beat the alumni 15-6. Stealth Assistant Coach Joe Romano scored one goal for the Poet Alumni Team. Romano graduated from Whittier in 2000.
