What is up Stealth fans?
For the young guns out there, hope your seasons have kicked off nicely. Everyone else, hope the Spring season is treating you well!
Talking about Spring season, it’s absolutely ridiculous how hot it is in San Jose…I know I’ve spoken about it in prior blogs, but come on, last week it must’ve been close to 90 degrees after our game. So, I’ve decided to just man up and wear shorts and short sleeves tomorrow morning when I hop on the plane in DC to head out West. Unfortunately, I’ll be battling 30 degree whether when I wake up at 4:30am…But no fear, I’ve been asked by our President, Johnny Mouradian to blog my weekly experience of travel…so in turn, you all should probably get about two different blogs this week, and as a matter of fact, I’ll keep this one relatively short because of that…
This past weekend was a bit of a trip…Overall, you can say things went well because we are now a half game back the last playoff spot in the West with two Western Conference teams left to play. We split games with Portland, lost at home and won away (Not the way it’s supposed to happen, although that was our first away victory this season), and are clawing back into the playoff picture. Man of the weekend was our boy Tyler Richards, or “T-Rich” as we call him, or Colin Doyle’s son (as I see it), whichever you prefer…Anyways, he really had a helluva game against Portland at their place; made a ton of stops after a slow team start. They say big time players step up in big time games…nice job T (hope your reading…if you are, when practice starts on Thursday, let a few of mine in for me to help me out with CH…).
So, sooner than later (actually starting tomorrow AM, and probably at the same time you West Coast dudes are going to sleep) I’ll be video blogging my 6-7 hour experience every week into SJ. After the game against Minny, we’ll get some quality time in with the guys on the team, which is more or less the best time every week…I’m a big fan of the guys I’ve been lucky enough to get drawn to in San Jose…then, I’ll flip the videocam on again for a nice flight back into MD on Saturday…
Here’s to safe travels,
