The Wait is Over: Here's Another Rabil Blog

What’s goin’ on Stealth fans??!

Hope everyone is well…
So, we had our final regular season home game at the HP Pavilion…can you believe it? It’s really ridiculous how fast time flies (even during losing streaks)…It’s hard to believe that I was a newcomer to the California Bay Area in January, and now we are already amidst the end of the regular season and the month of April…I feel like I’m a California resident (Well, truth be told I don’t feel like I reside in much of anywhere right now, I think of myself more as a nomad).

Anyways, we had another big win this weekend over Minnesota 18-8. Our Captain Colin Doyle really impressed a lot of people as he dished out…yes, 10 dimes/apples/pennies/helpers/feeders/lay-ups/coins/assists/etc…I feel like our team is coming together a bit, but the big part about this all is that we cannot be comfortable with our position. I’ve always learned (too often in sports unfortunately) that the minute you begin to feel comfortable or content, is when you begin to lose. Good thing we have a great coaching staff and leadership in our Vets, because I don’t think we feel comfortable at all, not at 6-8.

On to the fun stuff...again…Doug Locker, our Vice President/Ass. GM is a bit late on the video blog setup (just kidding), but I have that ready to send off, and hopefully our team at the Stealth will jazz it up and make it look interesting. Being honest with you, it’s not gonna hold a candle to Dangerous Dan blogs…I think the secret is that they get them professional done…either way, expect some darkness, poor usage of script, shakiness with my camera handles, and an overall video experience that may be as miserable as my plane ride (haha)!

This week and next we are away to the Mammoth and Toronto…two of the most entertaining and crowd-awakening venues in the sport. Playing in front of huge crowds is a blast for anyone, but the important thing is to soak it in, then put it behind us as we still have a bunch of business to tend to, as I’m sure that’s how every other team in this league is looking at this weekend as…

Cheers!

Paul
