Jeff Zywicki was honored in his hometown of Nepean, Ontario, Canada with his induction to the Nepean Sports Wall of Fame last week.  He was one of four athletes to be inducted.

From 1997 to 2001, Zywicki starred on the Nepean Knights lacrosse team and was credited with 191 goals and 156 assists in 70 games.  He went on to the University of Massachusetts where he was a two-time NCAA All-American.

In 2006, Zywicki led Canada to the World Championship with 28 goals in eight games, was named to the All-World Team, and was voted best attackman.  He was selected by the San Jose Stealth in the first round (8th overall) of the 2005 NLL Entry Draft, and has been an offensive force for the team ever since.  He has scored 147 goals and assisted on 139 others for 286 points in his four-year career, including a 2008 All-Star campaign where he set Stealth single-season records in goals (48) and points (90).

He won a Major League Lacrosse Championship last season with the Rochester Rattlers and now plays for the Toronto Nationals.
