Members of the Stealth visited their new home last weekend and got to know some members of the Washington lacrosse community at the Battle of Bothell¬. The 60-team tournament was held in Bothell, Wash., featuring some of the state’s largest youth lacrosse clubs.
The Stealth were represented by Vice President and Assistant General Manager Doug Locker, Senior Account Executive Jimmy Dilks, Director of Community Relations Breanna Kernan, Director of Communications Michael Kennett and Assistant Captain, defenseman Curtis Hodgson. The team received a warm welcome from everyone at the event, and the excitement level of the Washington lacrosse community was evident.
The Stealth tent was set up in the middle of all the action, and was frequented all weekend by waves of new Stealth fans. Hodgson was busy signing autographs and taking photos with youngsters in attendance.
“We couldn’t be more excited about the response we are getting from the local lacrosse community,” said Locker following the event. “We look forward to getting our players more involved with events such as this one and begin to run more camps for this area in which lacrosse is growing so rapidly.”
The Stealth will be holding camps and clinics later this summer and fall. Continue to check www.stealthlax.com for more information on upcoming events. Season tickets for the 2010 season are already available. Season tickets start at just $75 and can be ordered by calling 1-877-MY-75-TIX.
