Washington Stealth

Nearly 350 youth lacrosse players in the greater Seattle area greeted Paul Rabil with open arms as the second-year Stealth star performed five shooting clinics and an autograph session on July 13 and 14.  Rabil and new teammate Jason Bloom shared techniques and practice regimens at a Gamebreaker lacrosse camp and youth clubs in Issaquah, Mercer Island, Bainbridge Island and Bellevue during the two-day visit.

Eager lacrosse enthusiasts were given the opportunity to pick the brains of both Rabil and Bloom about their training, developing a more powerful shot, the difference between the indoor and field lacrosse games and much more.  Rabil, who was making his first appearance in the region since the Stealth moved to Washington, was excited to be a new representative of Washington lacrosse.  “There’s definitely areas, and this would be considered a top one, where lacrosse is absolutely blossoming,” Rabil told the Issaquah Reporter (http://www.pnwlocalnews.com/east_king/iss/sports/50896752.html). “It’s great to be a part of it, and it’s great to be a part of an organization that’s now out here and has the rights to this market.”

The clinics put on by Rabil and Bloom are just the first of many in the area featuring Stealth stars.  The organization plans to bring players to the area throughout the summer and fall to continue to provide local youth with instruction.  Photos and video from the events on July 13 and 14 will be available on www.stealthlax.com soon.
