transition player Paul Rabil was named the National Lacrosse League Transition
Player of the Week after a five-point performance last weekend. The Stealth won 17-8 over the Colorado
Mammoth in the season opener at the Comcast Arena on January 9.
Rabil finished the game with two goals and three assists to go along with six loose balls. He had a hand in each of the game’s first three goals, including a shorthanded goal and two assists. The Stealth jumped out to a 3-0 lead and never trailed in the game. His second goal of the night came in the third quarter and gave the Stealth a 7-3 lead. He would add his final assist later in the third.
Rabil and the Stealth are at home again on January 15 when they host the Edmonton Rush. The West Division clash will take place at 8:00pm. It’s “Save a Life Night” at the Comcast Arena, where there will be a Bone Marrow Registry Drive prior to the game. There will also be t-shirt sales at the game that will benefit the Make-A-Wish Foundation. For ticket information, call 877-MY-75-TIX or log on to www.stealthlax.com.
