Washington Stealth forward Jeff Zywicki was named the National Lacrosse League Offensive Player of the Week for his performance last week.  Zywicki tallied a season-high nine points in the Stealth’s 12-11 win over Colorado on January 30.

Zywicki earned game MVP honors in the game, recording three goals and six assists.  Zywicki posted a huge second quarter, recording a point on each of the Stealth's five goals (2g, 3a).  He completed his hat trick with a third quarter, power play tally that gave the Stealth their first lead of the game.  He then recorded three fourth quarter assists, including one on the game-winner with just over a minute remaining in regulation.

Zywicki is averaging seven points per game through the first five games of the season, leading the Stealth to the league’s best record at 5-0.  His 35 points are tops for the Stealth, and in the NLL.  He also ranks in the top four in assists (2nd, 22) and goals (4th, 13).  Zywicki boasts a .224 shooting percentage and has 15 loose balls on the season.

Zywicki and the rest of the Stealth look to remain undefeated when they host the Minnesota Swarm on Friday, February 5th at the Comcast Arena.  Tickets for the game start at just $13 and are available now by calling 877-MY-75-TIX or at www.stealthlax.com.
