It’s going to be a busy weekend here in Stealth-land, not just with the start of training camp, but a number of appearances by the Stealth staff, players and Bombshells. Here’s a quick breakdown of the weekend’s events so if you have a chance, stop by to support the Stealth and the community.
Stealth Training Camp Open Practice
When: Sunday, December 5 – 9am-11am
Where: Comcast Arena at Everett
The most obvious event this weekend is Stealth training camp from Friday – Sunday at the Comcast Arena. Come get the first look at the 2011 Stealth team as they prepare to defend the NLL title. Sunday’s practice session is free and open to the public, running from 9am-11am in the main rink of the Comcast Arena. Fans are asked to enter the Arena at the main entrance on the corner of Hewitt Ave. and Oakes St.
Space Needle Shootout
When: Friday-Sunday, December 3-5
Where: Starfire Sports Complex, Tukwila
Youth and High School teams from all over North America gather for three days chock full of lacrosse and the Stealth will be there. All weekend, the Stealth will have an information tent with chances to win some cool Stealth prizes. Saturday night, the Stealth will host a reception for all the coaches at the tournament and on Sunday, Stealth defenseman Eric Martin will be on hand to sign autographs, take pictures and take in some of the lacrosse action. Look for EMart at Starfire Sports Complex from 1:30pm-5pm.
Northwest Harvest “Home Team Harvest” Food Drive
When: Saturday, December 4 – All Day, Bombshells Appearance 8am-10am
Where: Everett Mall
One of the Stealth’s favorite non-profit organizations, Northwest Harvest, will be running their annual “Home Team Harvest” food drive all day Saturday at the Everett Mall. Members of the Bombshells will be on hand collecting donations with possible special appearances by Stealth players from 8am-10am. Bring your non-perishable items and help out families around the Northwest during the holidays.
Mill Creek Christmas Tree Lighting and Parade
When: Saturday, December 4 – 5:30pm
Where: Mill Creek City Hall
Tis the season! The holidays are here and the Bombshells are going to kick off the holiday season in Mill Creek by performing at the end of the Mill Creek Christmas Parade. Stop by for some holiday cheer and a chance to get the first look at the 2011 Bombshells in action.
