April Stealth game to be carried live on CBS Sports Network

EVERETT, Wash. – The Washington Stealth are among just a handful of National Lacrosse League teams that will have a game broadcast live on the CBS Sports Network during the upcoming 2013 season.

The Stealth’s home matchup with the Buffalo Bandits, Saturday, April 13 will be carried live on the CBS Sports Network beginning at 7 p.m. PT. The CBS Sports Network is available to Comcast customers in the Seattle market on channel 412 (633 HD).

“The Stealth are pleased to be a part of NLL games broadcast across North America on the CBS Sports Network," said David Takata, President of the Washington Stealth.  "Being included among the Western Division teams selected to represent the NLL and our sport on television reflects well on both our team’s reputation for competitive play and the strength of lacrosse in Washington state.”

The Stealth, Bandits game is a part of the NLL’s second season on CBS Sports Network that includes select regular season and postseason games. 

Other games included the Saturday, April 6 matchup between the Rochester Knighthawks and the Philadelphia Wings (3 p.m. PT), the NLL regular season finale on Saturday, April 20 between the Rochester Knighthawks and Buffalo Bandits (4:30 p.m. PT), along with coverage of the NLL playoffs.  The CBS Sports Network is the exclusive home of the 2013 NLL Championship Game.

CBS Sports Network (CBSSN) is the 24-hour cable destination of CBS Sports, available to 103.5 million homes throughout the United States and Canada. CBSSN is available on local cable, video and telco providers and via satellite on DirecTV Channel 613 and Dish Network Channel 158. The Stealth begins its fourth season of play in Washington State with its 2013 home-opener against the defending NLL champion Rochester Knighthawks at 6:45 p.m., Saturday, Jan. 5 at Everett’s Comcast Arena.
