VANCOUVER, BC (Tuesday, September 3, 2013) – The National Lacrosse League will officially return to Vancouver for a regular season game on January 11 as the Vancouver Stealth will host the Minnesota Swarm at the Langley Events Centre to kick off their 2014 home schedule. The Stealth will host seven of their nine home games on Saturday night with the remaining two on Friday nights.
All three Canadian teams will visit Vancouver during the season. The Toronto Rock, featuring Colin Doyle and Langley native Garrett Billings, make their lone appearance in Vancouver on April 5, the Edmonton Rush make one visit (January 25), while the Calgary Roughnecks will make two stops at the LEC (March 21 and April 26). The Colorado Mammoth and John Grant Jr. are scheduled to make two trips to the LEC, with the first January 17 and the second coming on February 8.

The Stealth are coming off an impressive 2013 season finishing with a record of 11-8 and falling just one goal short of winning the Champions Cup, losing to the Rochester Knighthawks 11-10 in front of a raucous crowd at the LEC. Over the past four seasons, the Stealth have enjoyed considerable success advancing to the league final three of those years, including winning the NLL Championship in 2010 against Toronto.
