The Stealth select Kevin Neufeld 22nd overall

VANCOUVER, BC – The Vancouver Stealth selected Kevin Neufeld 22nd overall in the 2013 NLL Entry Draft.

Neufeld was born in Markham, Ontario but grew up playing his lacrosse in Coquitlam, British Columbia. He was recruited to play at Robert Morris University for the 2010 season where he played in 13 games as a freshmen. The 6'5 defender played a total of 36 regular season games with Robert Morris during his career and played a few years with recent fellow Stealth draftee Tyler Digby, who was selected 20th overall.

Neufeld played for the Coquitlam Adanacs in the WLA this past summer, competing in 18 regular season games. Neufeld has played in Coquitlam throughout his career so making the move to Vancouver and playing at the Langley Events Centre should make for an easy transition.
