Jason Bloom - Player Development Assistant

Jason Bloom is heading into his 2nd season as an Assistant Coach with the Stealth.  Bloom played for six seasons in the National Lacrosse League retiring at the end of the 2012 season.   He served as captain of the Stealth from 2010 – 2012 and helped lead the team to its first ever Champions Cup in 2010.  As a member of the Washington Stealth, he played in 45 regular season and 6 post season games  scoring 3 goals, 14 assists and collecting 173 looseballs.  Prior to his time with the Stealth he previously played for the Boston Blazers (2009) and the Colorado Mammoth (2007, 2008).

The 2010 season with the Stealth was one to remember as Bloom played in all 19 games. He set a career-high for loose balls with 111, and got his hands on the Champions’ Cup as the Stealth won their first NLL title.   Over his career, Bloom played in 88 regular season and playoff games, scoring 24 goals, 48 assists and 334 looseballs.

A native of Coquitlam, BC, Bloom was a two-time captain at Ohio State University and played for the Coquitlam Adanacs of the Western Lacrosse Association.

Currently, he lives in Mercer Island, Washington with his wife Lindsay and his two children and works in Commercial Real Estate.
