Dan Perreault - Assistant Coach/Offense

Dan Perreault is in his second season as an offensive assistant coach for the Stealth after spending two seasons as a scout for the team. Perreault brings over 30 years of lacrosse experience as a player and coach to the Stealth organization, including two stints as an assistant coach in the National Lacrosse League.

Perreault currently serves as the head coach of the New Westminster Jr. ‘A’ Salmonbellies of the BCJALL. Prior to the Salmonbellies, he spent three seasons as the head coach of the Coquitlam Jr. ‘A’ Adanacs, earning BCJALL Coach of the Year honors in 2008.

In the NLL, Perreault served as an assistant coach most recently with the Colorado Mammoth in 2009 and 2010. He was also the offensive coordinator for the Vancouver Ravens in 2004.

During his standout playing career, Perreault starred for the Burnaby Cablevision team. From 1974-1978 he played in four Minto Cups - winning titles twice - in 1977 and again in 1978 as team captain. His Junior ‘A’ career continues to stand out as one of the best in history, as he ranks in the top five all-time in career points (3rd, 536), goals (4th, 251), assists (3rd, 285) and games played (T-1st, 133). As a highly touted first round draft pick in the Western Lacrosse Association, Perreault played for the Vancouver Burrards of the WLA for seven seasons between 1979 and 1986. He finished his WLA career with 469 points (213g, 256a) in 182 games.

Perreault was honored for his career accomplishments as a player by being inducted to the Canadian Lacrosse Hall of Fame in 2009.
