Mike McLaury is entering his third season as the athletic trainer for the Washington Stealth. He was born and raised in Everett, WA, and graduated from Lake Stevens High School.
McLaury went on to play football for Western Washington University where he became team captain his senior year and named All-Conference defensive end. He continued his football career as both a fullback and defensive end in Austria, playing for the Graz Giants of the European American Football League. McLaury was selected for the All-European team as Defensive End. He was a five-time sack leader for the Graz Giants as well as earning team MVP in 2000. For six years, McLaury not only played but worked as an assistant coach, the team Head Athletic Trainer, and the Strength and Conditioning Coach.
As the co-owner and director of Everett Physical Therapy and Sports Performance Center, McLaury brings extensive experience in the field of rehabilitation, working for over 20 years in sports physical therapy. He has a passion for performance and functional based physical therapy to get athletes back on the field, court, play, or work free of pain and functioning at the highest potential.
